How do you transfer iPod songs off a computer hard drive to an external hard driver? I want to get iPod songs and videos off our home computer and put it on an external hard drive. How do you transfer so the iPod can synch to the external drive?

dean, they all gone... after a few years of selling them

interest is/was really lacking... took me months to even sell the last one

and the design was really based on 5th generation ipods
so it wouldnt even charge the newest ipods/touch

not to mention, all the newest commands on ipods need a digitial cert and a apple authentication IC

This makes me mad on the principle of it, but Apple has the market so stitched up that I'll probably still buy their stuff

Is there any chance to get a copy of your application since I cannot buy the cable to get it that way.. happy to pay a small fee. (I'll make my own cable)
