how to use USB-IO-1 with linux?

Postby lbauer on Thu Jun 30, 2011 4:50 pm

Hi,

What are the commands for using USB-IO-1 from linux? My computer recognizes it, but what are the commands for controlling it?

Thanks,
lbauer

Since it's been a year since the question was asked, I figured I'd try again. Is there any support for the USB-IO-1 on non-Windows operating systems? I'm on OS X, but a Linux driver would probably get me most of the way.

Thanks--

I want to talk to the device with a Mac. Can I just send ASCII commands through a terminal program? If not, can I get a copy of the commands?

it is not a serial device, its a HID device, and would require some programming
